Tonto Dikeh’s new boyfriend, Prince Kpokpogri, has denied rumours that he cheated on her. The Delta State politician and chairman of Anti-Corruption and Integrity Forum said the rumour that he was unfaithful to Dikeh is a smear campaign that should be ignored. Kpokpogri was forced to react this way when a leaked audio recording allegedly made by him is circulating on social media to the effect that he cheated on Dikeh.
In the leaked audio published by Gist Lover, Kpokpogri conversed with another woman and confessed to making love with several other women since he began dating Dikeh. In the conversation, he lamented that Tonto drinks and smokes incessantly and that he finds this a serious problem to cope with. He alleged that Tonto’s smoking and alcoholic habits might be a clog in the wheel of their budding relationship.
However, the politician said the rumour is untrue and that the voice claiming to be his was actually cloned. He said he will be on Instagram Live on Sunday so that the public can distinguish his voice from that of the one in the fake audio clip.
“Fake news, fake clone voice recording,” he wrote. “Kindly disregard it. I will be on Instagram Live on Sunday for clarity sake, distinguishing the face voices from the real voice if need be.”
In June, Kpokpogri celebrated his birthday and Tonto was present to spice up the event. She confessed her love for him and even presented him with a brand new car for his birthday gift. But following the audio clip circulating on social media, hundreds of Tonto’s fans have taken to the internet to warn Kpokpogri against any misdemaneur that could hurt the actress.
Tonto Dikeh was formerly married to business Churchill Olakunle and they have a son, but the marriage was mared with controversy and allegations of domestic violence. They got divorced and Dikeh has moved on over the years to find love again with Prince Kpokpogri.
