Nollywood actor Mike Ezuruonye has reacted angrily to allegations on social media that he scammed women. He said he is tired of explaining to people that fraudsters manipulate his images and even hack his accounts to scam people. He said he is well-paid and would never condescend to the levels of scamming women.
The 38-year-old movie star stated in an Instagram post on Sunday that people continually harass him with allegations of defrauding women, when in actual fact he is not aware of such events. He blamed some women as gullible, adding that they ought to exercise due diligence to protect themselves from impostors.
“Now I’m angry, to all those silly women who have been severally explained to that it ain’t me but impostors who scammed them and they go further trolling I, my family members, my friends, their Kids, I mean children, with steady insults,” he said.
According to him, he is tired of pitying such women since they make themselves easy prey for scammers.
“I am done having compassion for you stupid lot, explaining sh*t,” he said in Pidgin English. “How much una get wey I wan scam una f*k all of you.”
In a related development, actor Alexx Ekubo has bagged an honorary doctorate degree. Ekubo announced the feat on social media – his first social media post since news of his breakup with his fiancee Fancy Acholonu hit the waves.

“I have a story,” Ekubo wrote. “Introducing, Dr. Alexx Ekubo. Thanks to the governing council of the Institut Supérieur de Communication et de Geston (ISCG UNIVERSITY) for conferring on me Doctorate (Honorary) Degree in Arts & Culture.”
Ekubo’s engagement and wedding with Acholunu was called off on Friday after the US-based lady cited incompatibility as the reason. Ekubo has not reacted on the issue since. The wedding was billed to hold on November 27, 2020 in Anambra State.
