Female Insurance Exec, Kafayat Adewale, Wins Car in Glo Extravaganza Promo

A 37-year-old insurance executive, Kafayat Adewale, has won a car in the ongoing Glo Joy Unlimited Extravaganza promo. The Cele-Okota, Lagos, resident was given the car to her brand new Kia Rio on Thursday in the presence of politicians, Nollywood actors, musicians, and captains of industries.

The visibly-elated Adewale said she was overjoyous with the winning, saying she wouldn’t have believed in December 2021 that she would win a car in January 2022. She said she first doubted her winning when she was informed via phone call by Glo representatives, until the second call came and she visited Glo office to verify the information. She said she saw the car parked at Gloworld near Cele Bus-stop.

“For the past five days, I have not been myself,” she stated. “It’s not that I don’t have a car but if anyone had predicted in December that I will have a brand new car in January, I wouldn’t have believed it. Today I have received the car key and I am now a Glo ambassador. I will continue to convince all Nigerians to join the Glo network. God bless Glo.”

Nigerians have won 13 cars and thousands of home appliances since the promo started two months ago. At the recent event in Cele-Okota, a total of 66 people won various home appliances which included 23 television sets, 20 refrigerators, and 23 power generators.

At the prize presentation ceremony was Glo regional manager for sales in Lagos, Abdulrazaq Ande; zonal coordinator for the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Mrs. Priscilla Onuzulu; member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Hon. Jude Emeka Idimogu; Chairman, Isolo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Olasoju Adebayo; Managing Director of Seaman Plaza, Mrs. Gloria Ifezue; Managing Director of Mikelaiye Ventures, Mr. Tunde Binuyo; Managing Director of Golden Rule Telecoms, Mrs. Ifeoma Uyenyere; Glo Ambassador and musician, Teni Makanaki; and Nollywood actors Odunlade Adekola and Rachael Okonkwo aka Nkoli.

Two prize giving ceremonies are also billed for January 20 in Aminu Kano Crescent, Abuja, and Adeola Odeku Gloworld on Victoria Island, Lagos where two Kia Rio cars and other prizes will be won by lucky winners.
